The World and the West?
Hey guys!Long time no post and I'm so sorry about that. Recently this site has become more of a blog than a resource site and I feel really bad about that. Exams are over and I have yet to add anything that I've promised too. Hopefully on my nice long weekend I won't be lazy and add a new layout plus updates!!!!! Exciting, I know!!!
Anyways I recently got my course selection sheet from school and I can't decide what courses to take for my final year. I've been trying to take things that I'm good at, that are also things I like as well. Has anyone taken history as an elective? I'm really good at it but I find the content somewhat boring. There is this new course next year and I'm not quite sure whether I should take it or not. It's called
World History: The West and the World. The description sounds somewhat interesting but then again don't they all. Any suggestions on how to pick my courses? I have no idea what to choose and my selection has to be done by this Tuesday. Any advice would be appriciated.
As for my life outside of school and work, there's not much news. Hockey is going well, we are entering hte playoffs and I'm sooo excited. Other than that I have a pretty dull life as you can see. Has anyone had any new and fun expieriences recently? Feel free to tell me all about them, seeing as mine aren't very exciting.
That's all for now, thanks for sticking with me through my laziness. I hope to get stuff up soon!

If You Can't Stand the Heat, Stay Out of the Kitchen!
Edit: I made a new layout and I absolutly love it. It's very simple but the image is my new bff. I figure if I haven't updated in a while then I should at least make a new layout. I'm too lazy to code it now so expect it up wednesday or thursday of this week!
Hey guys!
Long time no post... or anything for that matter! I'm so busy with exams and hockey I have no time to do anything else. I don't even have time for my work to schedule me in. It's kind of pathetic actually! As of this week I don't have a life until mid next week.
So I recently decided that if I want to continue trying for a scholarship by the time I graduate next year, I have to move to the next level of hockey. I am already at the highest in my age group but really when the schools scout you, you want to be at the age group higher than I am right now. So on top of everything I am running around trying to get coaches numbers to call them and say "Hey are you looking for a goalie? Come watch me play!" I also recently discovered that my goalie partner whom is 2 years younger than me and is already playing an age level up, has confirmed that she will not be coming back next year because she was already asked to move up to the level I want to go to!
My dad then starts saying about how I need to step my game up and quotes the
oh-so-ever-annoying-phrase, if you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen!!! Does anyone else hate that phrase? I mean like once is fine but when you hear it constantly it just becomes another cliche. Anyways after calling a bunch of coaches I got 2 who are interested and are coming to see me play on Friday.
Moving on, my scanner still isn't hooked up so I can't put any scans and stocks up yet. It sucks because I have a lot of them and they're just sitting there. I don't have anymore updates except for my lovely exam table but I wouldn't want to hurt your brain trying to figure it out so I won't put it up. I also made a layout but it didn't really turn out so I don't think I'm going to use it. Hopefully a new one next week???
Questions:
- Do you play any high level sports?
- Have any other cliche phrases you hate?
- What kind of updates would you like to see?
